OCTOBER 2021

LAURELHURST HAUNTED HOUSE

DONATIONS TO BENEFIT NORTHWEST HARVEST

Over 3,000 people attended the Laurelhurst Haunted House from October 29 through October, 31, 2021. The live action haunted house was hosted by Jim and Hunter Thorpe with all donations benefiting Northwest Harvest.

Admission was complimentary, with a suggested donation of $1.00 or a non-perishable item. With the goal of supporting community involvement, Summit Capital pledged to match all contributions. The 3 day event exceeded Jim’s initial goal of $5,000, totaling $10,000 in donations.

Jim Thorpe is enthusiastic about giving back and being involved in the community. The Laurelhurst Haunted House is a prime example of his philanthropic efforts. Thorpe looks forward to continually offering the community interactive experiences that promote unity.

From collecting donations, to performing in the haunted house, the team at Summit Capital Partners helped create a memorable experience. Thorpe looks forward to continually supporting Northwest Harvest and hosting future events.

Seeing the community come together, dressed up and enjoying the haunted house was really cool to see. Everyone who came donated generous amounts of non-perishable foods and we completely surpassed our goal in money donations this year!” – Alayna, Summit Capital Employee
